Nature's Garland

It was a stifling hot evening when I ventured outside to look at the colours in the sky created by the setting sun.  I realised I was a little late and turned back towards our home and was confronted by this.  I know it is a bit out of left field, but the eucalypt directly out front (which hosts all those lorikeets) has spread over the top of our street light causing the profusion of blossoms to form this gorgeous garland. Who needs Christmas decorations when nature does it so well? A bit of an odd one, but for some reason it delighted me.
