Little bird

We were having lunch when this appeared on the other side of the french doors. The poor wee thing looked absolutely exhausted and we all feared the worst. After half an hour of huffing and puffing we spotted it in the pear tree at the bottom of the garden. Anybody out there able to give a positive ID on the species?

After lunch a quick trip to the tip and then take Callum out for a bike ride, managed about half a mile when we saw the weather come in, and boy did it come in as we reached the garage. Been indoors ever since.

Weather might be kinder tomorrow, I fancy a big long run on the road bike...

On another note I'm now the proud owner of one of these.. Not the 6 foot version but a gorgeous silver print all the same. Off to the big blue shed for a frame soon. Thank you Simon for this wonderful print.
