In the Spotlight

The day started of with some sun but then disappeared and a cold wind blow in. They say tomorrow is going to be warm. We will have to waiting and see.

I had my visit to the Specialist this morning. He sure checked me out. The blood test showed I have a low grade infection. The liver test was normal. They test the liver as it can show up any infection in the bone. He seem to think my cellulites maybe the trouble... it may be the infection but I am sure it would not course the pain in the bone. The cellulite in my leg has been there since 1994 and my legs look better than they have before. He wants me to wear my horrible support stocking each day to help the legs. I hate wearing them in hot weather.. but I better behave!

I have to be on antibiotics for two weeks. The Specialist has ordered a urgent MRI and I go back to him in two weeks time, as long as I have had the scan first.

I just got home and I had a text from my friend who is on holiday from Wellington, wanting to know if I would like to got out to lunch with the family at the Boat Shed. I was a little worried about having to walk a long way so said I would love to but sorry I can't. It ended up I was picked up and we had a wonderful afternoon celebrating the daughters birthday. Lots of chat and lovely food. I have just got home. So a full day out, no packing today.

While I was waiting for my friend to pick me up I notice these two feijoa flowers against the dark fence with a little sunlight catching them. It isn't a sharp shot as I couldn't get very close to them. Normally the tree is covered in flower, but not this year. To me they look a little surreal in the light that is catching them.
