Flower Power

Wild, warm, wet weather and a good opportunity to stay in and plan the next well excursion - north Cork here we come, and it might be a stay over in Mitchelstown! It doesn't get more exciting than that!
Later I nipped into Bantry for a B12 injection and got the time of my appointment wrong - I was half an hour early and they were running late so it seemed like a long wait. I was politely inquiring at the reception when Doctor G spotted me, whisked me in, administered the injection and said I could have this course free is I donated some books as prizes for Operation Transform - a get fit initiative. Seemed like a fair swop!
A quick mooch around this house on my way home. It's been empty for sometime I reckon but in each window plants were still struggling to hang on - here a spindly spider plant, in other windows straggly geraniums. I rather liked the faded plastic flower here and the flowery curtains. The outside once once have looked very colourful, a distinctive sage and apricot. It has a magnificent view too.
