Queenstown

Cant believe I have 1095 blips.  It has gone so quickly.  Thank you for all your support and encouragement. Blip is such a great community.  I look forward to many more blips and meeting more people through blipmeets in 2017.  Apologies if I am not able to comment as much as I would like while we are away as the connection is not always great.

Lovely weather for our departure from Wanaka and we were very sad to leave as it is such a nice place and I feel particularly comfortable here.

Short drive over to Queenstown.  We came via Cardrona and there were millions of lupins lining the side of the roads - really pretty. 

We stopped by chance in Arrowtown for coffee.  A delightful town which used to be famous for gold mining.  While we were having coffee at the old Post Office we got chatting to the people on the next table who just happened to be from Windermere!

In the evening we went up the Gondola in Queenstown to take in the view of the town and the lake.
