Nuthatch

It has been a quiet day today with a trip into the North Harbour at Ayr to get some quotes for a new shed and the towing electrics on the car changed to the new 13 pin plug.

In the morning I had quite a few visitors to the bird feeder but this one was a new one for me.  At first I thought it was some kind of Woodpecker due to the log sharp beak but it was in fact a Nuthatch.  Apparently it is a rare sight in Scotland.  It visited the feeder a number of times but due to the low light and its speed this was the best shot I managed.
