White Stuff

After a still morning, it seemed it would be back to school tomorrow, so I booted up and trapsed through snow for lunch and then to my office to do some marking, when lo!  The heavens opened and again the land about was festooned with new layers of the white stuff. 

Walking home at 18:00 the paths were icy and crunchy, and the news came that school will be closed for a third day tomorrow. (The extra pic shows the view from the library today. This is what it usually looks like here. )

Robin and Caitlin came for dinner. Sort of veggies and lentils (again) as I continue to explore the contents of my fridge and kitchen cupboards.  We even managed to find a can of beer. Hurrah.
