Been anywhere lately?

In the course of the past 57 years Mrs.K. and I have visited a few places.

As lovers of maps and walking guides we have collected literally thousands of both plus huge numbers of promotional leaflets etc.

At last I have forced myself to be a bit more ruthless about throwing very many away and organising the rest so they can be found.

Two large black bin bags full have gone. They included many road maps of U.S.A. all out of date. Even a collection of National Geographic maps have sadly departed with hundreds of little leaflets.

Still some hundreds I could not bear to dispose of. Now in three large plastic storage boxes sorted into countries. Plus in a bookcase a couple of hundred U.K. Ordnance Survey maps.

Are we alone with this problem of storage and difficult decisions.
