It's too late

I inherited this Christmas cactus from my Mum who had been given it as a cutting from my Granny's plant. Now it's down to me to keep it going. Gulp! No pressure then.
It wasn't out for Christmas so I just stuck it away in a spare room, checked yesterday, and it has  burst forth.
