a lifetime burning

Blizzard Conditions

I know that some parts of the country really have had terrible weather and that the east coast in particular faces a difficult evening tonight, but this was the sight that met me this morning.  As you can see the nearby Kelston Round Hill is slightly frosted with almost enough to cover a hobit's toes to misquote Tolkein.

I am definitely on the mend today, and thank you to all for your sympathy and good wishes.  I've even ventured out of the house, but only briefly.

Which is just as well as tonight we have my son James and his fiancée Katie coming to stay for the weekend.  I shall be careful not to breath over anyone!
