Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

By NannaK

Friday with Fiona

Picked Fiona up from school —she always wants to play with a friend on the playground for a little while— then we went to the Asian Seattle Art Museum to see the video exhibition by  a young Japanese   artist Tabaimo (HERE)...interesting but bizarre.

it's the last one before they close for remodeling.   Photography not allowed..but it was accurately reported to her Mom when she came to get her.   So the blip is the replica of the camel that every child in Seattle has played on… the originals are inside the Downtown art museum…I’m not sure I’ve blipped Fiona on it before.  It’s not more than about 34F but she insists her star wars sweater is warm enough —also for the nearby playground after.  (We are totally bundled up inside and out)  The extra is the Noguchi "donut" and the reservoir that is covered with ice.   But no snow here.  (I know Portland and many places in the country would be happy to have their snow and ice leave. )Then home to play with origami and help clean out the kid shelves and pizza for dinner….
