boy-oh-boy, talk about getting into a pickle - but 1st things 1st...

originally, i thought this little guy/gal was a house finch - however they're typically brown/brownish red depending on male or female - the longer i stared at this one - and this is straight out of the camera - other than cropping i haven't made any changes to it at all - the coloring appears more gray/black so i am now questioning if this is something else - anyone have a clue? all knowledge is appreciated since i really don't know my birds very well - and i apologize in advance for the photo not being as crisp as it could to help

now point 2: have you ever gotten yourself into the kind of pickle - this little one has - you just get stuck in a situation and seemingly don't know how, or can't get out - due to fear or being overwhelmed or because of anxiety - i sure have - it can be terrifying especially if there's no one around who can relate to what you're feeling - or has no clue to what you're experiencing - but sometimes you just need to take a blind step of faith - trusting all will be okay - that sometimes there really is something or someone greater or bigger than yourself - who is in control, has your back - will not let you fail - will be wth you no matter what
