A busy Sunday morning at Norwich Station

Another view of Norwich Station, which turns out to be surprisingly busy.

In the foreground is Class 90 Sir John Betjeman, about to leave on the 10am to Liverpool Steet. To the left is a DRS Class 47, which is presumably used as a relief engine. To the right is a East Midlands Trains Class 158 Express Sprinter waiting in sidings to run on the Norwich to Liverpool Lime St service.

Although impossible to see in this photo, in the three track bay to the right of Sir John Betjeman there is a Greater Anglia Class 170 ready to depart on the 10.03 to Cambridge and a Class 156 Super Sprinter on the Bittern Line to Cromer and Sheringham.

Between them is a white liveried Greater Anglia Class 153 named Benjamin Britten.
