Hooch

My favourite drink... well now of my favourites anyway. I had street food for lunch; wonderfully hand cut and lovingly made, twice cooked chips (soggy chips warmed up hence the twice cooked!) and baclava (delicious ! so pleased I bought two pieces).
I needed cash so popped into the station and then the bar and so came across the Hooch. Back in the 90s I always drank Hooch but you don't see it around so much now; but always a treat when I do...
Yesterday afternoon I wandered up a narrow lane (well about as wide as Guernsey roads) just across from my hotel and came upon  The Mog on the Tyne. I've booked for lunch on Tuesday which I think will be a wonderful memory to add to my last day in Newcastle.
