Faffing around

Thank you all so much for the stars and hearts showered on yesterday's short-eared owl. It was worth the frozen legs (despite wearing jeans and leggings) which didn't warm up properly until I went to bed.

I was glad we made the most of yesterday, as today's weather has been pretty grim, almost non-stop rain. I entered some data and then played around with some stacking and layering. This was one of my final productions - an arty take on a leaf beetle. My other shot (in extras) shows the delicate construction of a moon moth coccoon, that appears to be made of spun gold thread.
