Aloe Abstract

I decided to do something different today so walked around the garden and saw this Hedgehog Aloe glowing in the late afternoon sun. I liked the luminosity of the leaves. It gets the most beautiful flowers in the winter and the sunbirds love the nectar.
We had a wonderful afternoon with the Abu Dhabi family here for a Sunday lunch of roast lamb - they drove up from Plett for the day to say goodbye to us before returning home next week. It will be a long time before we see them again.
