Man Flue

I looked out of the kitchen window at lunchtime and was surprised to find the top of a gas boiler flue lying outside. My first throught was that it had rolled down from the house being built above us, but a quick look on our own roof showed a distinct lack of flue!

It wasn't there when Mrs M came in shortly before lunch, so how we hadn't heard it rolling down the roof and landing on the concrete path I'll never know!

There's a little bit still sticking out of the roof so we've kept the boiler on with the carbon monoxide detector close by. It's obvious that we'll need to get a man in! At least this is a real Blip of daily life!
