And Relax...

We returned to one of the little beaches on the Pine Trees Walk in the morning and spent a few hours bobbing around in the sea. Miss A is really confident in the water and was jumping, splashing and dancing around with the biggest grin. Little D was loving it too, as long as he could keep his feet on the sandy bottom. There was not a breath of wind and no tide so the water was as calm as could be, just perfect for children.

We met up with the grandparents and Nic, Xanin and Leni in the afternoon, hanging out back at the hotel pool. There were a few water slides for the kids and they enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the pool - a stark contrast to the peace of the beach but enjoyable in its own way.

Timings went a bit to pot so we didn't get round to having a big family dinner and instead Rob and I took the kids out to a restaurant on our own. Lets just say the chilled out day became rather fraught with tension as both kids wailed through the dinner. We couldn't get away fast enough. We'll put it down to full-on days, lost routines and Little D being choked with a nasty cold and cough.

Sleep soothed away the tears of the day, teddy was cuddled and peace was once again restored.
