All I want for Christmas is my own sailboat

It was sooo good yesterday, we just had to come back to our little beach again today and it was just as beautiful this time round. Well, until the peace was shattered with Little D's crying. He decided that boats were now the best thing in the whole world and had to have one NOW! Rob took him over to where some small boats were moored and he was the happiest boy on the island being skipper for a few minutes. He even managed to throw some regal waves our way.

We got the kids back to the hotel for a nap, pre-family meal and Rob and I enjoyed an aperitif (ok, make that plural) on the balcony, looking out onto the Tramuntana Mountains. Pretty idyllic.

The big family meal was not a meal of kings, but the backdrop of the beach and dead calm sea more than made up for it. All the cousins were having fun in the water together - Miss A, Little D, Dilan and Leni. The sun had set, the moon was out and it was one of those beautiful moments where, for that instant, life just doesn't get any better. Unfortunately I'd decided against bringing my camera out with me, more's the pity. Plenty of video footage however, so we can relive the moment again and again.
