Hot

How do you portray heat?  As in a very hot day.  We don't live near the beach, and there's no sand dunes hereabouts.  So I've opted for the sun shining through the neighbour's tree. 

It's not easy to photographically describe a hot summer's day.  The unrelenting sun beating down, from that relentlessly blue sky.  And the burning heat on your shoulders that sends you back indoors quick smart.

Just thought you'd like to know it's a hot one today.  We topped out at about 106 degrees F.
