815. 55/100....Breast Screening

This lovely lady agreed to be my Blip portrait for today as I had to attend my routine breast screening appointment.....a very valuable service and one which has saved many lives....

I was unfortunate enough to have a recall on my first ever screening which resulted in several biopsies but which thankfully did not reveal anything sinister...so I am eternally grateful that I get these screening opportunities....

There has been so much to complain about with regard to the NHS of late but we also need to remember that there are also a number of services which do work efficiently but these never make the headlines......
