Gulls at the Market :)

A pair of black-headed gulls were looking for leftovers this afternoon, on the frames which cover the market stalls along the Boulevard August Blanqui.  Unfortunately the cleanup after today's morning session was nearly over, leaving little for them to grab. Gulls are scavengers, eating everything (I once saw a herring gull grab an unfinished ham sandwich from an restaurant terrace in Maine). The extra shows the large truck (behind me) with workers already picking up the rolled-up canvases which cover the stalls; it will return the rolls for the Friday morning session. We usually go for the third weekly market on Sunday (as we did ten days ago).
