Cleaning the cage

Saturday, we had a mission.  It was operation "de-Christmas" the house.  We slept in a bit...so I was feeling guilty.  I told Sugar we needed to set the timer, and challenge ourselves to be completely done by noon!  We worked hard.....and got it all cleaned up, and stored away in the attic for next year.  We were about 15 minutes late...BUT...we had to take a break in the middle of it to wrestle the goat outside, as The Hubby had moved him too close to the bunny hutch, and the goat had tore all their feed containers off the side of the hutch.  Sigh.....

We had lunch, and settled in on the couch to watch some of the 2nd season of "just add magic".  We love that show....and have been waiting for the second season for almost a year now.  We watched several episodes in a row.  Then we started in on cleaning Kiwi's cage.  It was definitely time.  She is such a sweet little hamster.  Too fast to hold....but so fun to watch.  She has sure been an added joy to our house.  

In the evening, The Hubby arrived home with 8 dungeness crab for me to boil and pick.  YUM!  Sugar, Toby cat and I enjoyed the picking and snacking!  Life is good!
