With Spring not too far away Mrs.K. has been cleaning up the bird boxes in the garden. The top picture shows a Blue Tit box. They used it successfully last year and we think the egg was from the second brood.

The lower picture shows what we believe was the nest of blackbirds. This was in one of the covered log stacks.
