Don't look down!

Wednesday is wide angle day, so here is my submission for the weekly challenge, hosted by Hobbs.

This week the theme is perspective. Hopefully this shot complies with this!

Looking down the stairs to the hall two floors below, my shoes appear much further away than they really are. Not a good shot for vertigo sufferers.
I nearly used a similar shot looking from the hall upwards, which is in today's extra. I decided the inclusion of a pair of shoes give an idea of scale.
