Florence Hill Lookout, Catlins

We left the Farmstead after breakfast and headed along the coast road driving north towards Dunedin.

We stopped off and walked to the Purakanui Falls, very pretty 20m high three-tiered waterfalls  (See extras).

A day of sunshine and showers.  We arrived in Dunedin early afternoon.  Our hotel is fairly central so we walked into town to have a look around.  Dunedin is the largest city in the southern half of the South Island with a population of around 120,000 which is bolstered by 25,000 students at the University of Otago - NZ's oldest tertiary institution.

No 2 son flies home from Auckland this evening.
