Spring Time?

Met up with friend L. in Forfar for lunch and a blether today, before going on to a talk by a volunteer from the National Trust for Scotland about the "Haddo Babies".

These were babies born at the historic Haddo House, near Aberdeen, when it was used temporarily as an emergency maternity hospital during the Second World War.  Over 1200 babies, many with mothers from Glasgow and further afield were born in this regal house (Queen Victoria did sleep there!) and many have met up again for a couple of re-unions.

A really fascinating talk by a very engaging speaker, but it left me no time for a blip, hence the bunch of tulips:-)  I'm trying to convince myself Spring is almost here, though the Arctic bite to the wind this evening said otherwise!
