New Shoes

Both Rosie and sultan lost shoes in the last week so the blacksmith had to come, two weeks earlier than planned. This was also Sultan's ist shoeing with us. Went well but we need to spend some time getting him to give his hind legs. He seems to enjoy kicking out though it doesn't really seem to be for any real reason and not particularly hard but a nasty habit which can quickly have painful consequences.
Dieter, the "Blacky", has been doing our horses for a year or so after our last one had to retire for health reasons. He lives unfortunately quite far away but luckily has several customers in the area so it isn't too much of a problem when we lose a shoe.
