Watch out! She's behind you!

Saturday 21st January 2017 (1610)

I took Huddsbird and Physivic to Knowsley Safari Park. Neither of them had been to one before. We had a great drive round in the morning sun. A scary moment when the lion approached Physivic from behind. 

After our drive we watched the sealion show and had lunch. We then went for another safari drive, followed by a walk to see the meerkats, giraffe and elephants, except the elephants were in hiding. The flight of the talons show took place indoors, demonstrating various birds of prey. A walk in the bat forest followed. We didn't realise this was actually in the enclosure with all the bats flying around your head! We managed a walk round the wild trail just to say we'd completed everything. As it had gone cold by then we finished off with a hot chocolate. 

A wonderful day with a lot of laughter, as usual. Back home to sort pictures and cook tea.
