Right. Saturday.

A quiet day after 2 busy ones and expecting a busy one tomorrow. Same on Monday.

Time to catch up with the domestic drudge.

I was down at the water briefly, but the weather was cool (3⁰) and foggy. The forecast had promised sunshine all day. Ach well...

I did allow myself a few moments to daydream about spring and summer. That might bring another trip to the east, but probably Lithuania this year. Here’s Latvia anyway. You want to reach out and touch that warm sunshine.

Summer Sun

My coping strategy for current events to our west is to ignore it all so far as possible. However, one Twitter exchange did make me laugh out loud

Trump: “... the movement continues... the work begins!
Gary Lineker: “Hope it’s not a bowel movement, or Piers Morgan could fall out.”

The Blip is just what’s left of St Serf’s Church in Dysart after 500+ years.

[Note:- For those who know less about that part of the world than I do, Latvia is a nation of around 2m people. It gained independence in 1918, and became an unwilling part of the USSR in 1944 until independence was restored in 1991. The Latvian language is similar only to Lithuanian and isn’t like Russian.]
