Jetty

Feeling rather uninspired today for some reason. Headed down to Inverloch for a walk along one of the beaches down there, ending up at the jetty. I made a rather colourful version of this exposure but wanted to try a B&W conversion. I like it OK. The kids at the end of the pier were helping one of them that had hooked in something big. There was great excitement for a short while. Whatever it was eventually got away. They had baited up for shark, but who knows. This jetty is at the seaward end of the inlet. The photograph looks away from the ocean into the estuary. Apparently we have had so much rain the saltiness of the inlet has been effected adversely with regard to the fishing. It is a wonderful part of our local coastline, belied by the moodiness of this photograph.
