OK. Where is the sugar syrup?

The picture just took off and published itself. Now I am catching up with it with the commentary. Perhaps it is trying to tell me something about my commentary?

The tuis are funny - they will not drink the sugar syrup after it has had rain in it, diluting the drink. And there was plenty of rain last night. Enough rain to have flooding around and about in the usual places. The rain was driven by extremely strong winds that flung the rain against my bedroom windows, keeping me awake for a large part of the night. The garden looks sad and battered today and I probably do too, after little sleep.

I had better go and replenish the jar of sugar syrup.
