Curbar Edge

We were out early to the Peak District, orienteering on Baslow Edge.  It was -1 when we got out of the car and there were a few wintry flakes in the area, so it was on with an extra layer and no hanging about.  I didn't make any major errors, just faffed around a bit on the way to the first control and overshot no. 12 by a few metres.  I walked back up the hill to blip the Edge, which was very popular with walkers and mountain bikers, despite the raw day and the fog, then treated myself to a gingerbread latte from the French van cafe Jolly's in the public carpark.  To be recommended if you are out that way!

Back home and it's heating on, bath then time to get the chicken in the oven!  My Christmas present from Tony may hopefully arrive tomorrow!
