Carlyle Adventures

Recently Carlyle Adventures 2016 arrived in the post!  Each year the family send me their photos of their fun and I put them together in a Blurb Book.  2016's is the fattest yet, testament to the very busy year we all had.  The highlight for Tony and I was our retirement holiday in New Zealand and so this year's cover is the sunrise I blipped from our camper van parked up at Ray's Rest on the edge of the Thames Firth.  I woke early, looked out of the window and wow!

No chance for an outdoor blip today.  We were booked in for lunch at Rob's mum and dad's so we took the opportunity to do the Harrogate Parkrun en route.  Tony did okay but there wasn't enough of interest on three laps of the Stray to keep my mind off the running, so a slow time!  It was non-stop catching up once we reached Alan and Margaret's then a quick call in at Jen and Pete's for our shopping and home just after dark.
