A Grey Day

As the weather was so miserable again - apart from about an hour of sunlight and a dozen snow flakes - I stayed in most of the day . I finally got around to unpacking my umbrella / softbox combo for my speedlight that I got at Christmas - and picked a few bits out of my 'useful box' to play with.

I liked this the best as it seems to show hardly any shadow inside the cones.

Extra is of a teasel with the softbox over to the right and a second speedlight down to the left. I wanted to try and get a rim light effect - but there was no room behind my props!

I will have to pack it all away now - Mrs madwill due home in the morning. The kit does rather take over the dining room.
