Foolhardy?

Every Tuesday Mr P goes to Bolton Abbey with some friends for a run around the beautiful surroundings there.
I went along today and had a walk around till they came back.
The path l intended to walk on was closed due to restoration work taking place so l backtracked and walked towards the Abbey on the other side of the river,
The mist and frostiness were quickly evaporating so l had to re evaluate the sort of shot l wanted to take.
At the Abbey after circumnavigating the ruins a couple of times l crossed the bridge and got ready to take this photograph,
Three walkers were approaching the bridge and to my surprise two of them chose the stones as their alternative crossing.
Seemed strange to see them especially as l had just mentioned on here two days ago that it is a very fast rising river.
Met back at the Cavendish Cafe for a flat white before returning home.
All happy with what we had achieved with our exertions!
