A Meandering Life...

Widwed64 :: Wideangle Distortion

This was a challenge for more than one reason, let me explain.

Firstly I'm stuck indoors waiting on a delivery so no fancy London shots this week. Secondly the light is awful needing an ISO of 800.

Not sure if I stuck with Hobb's fine brief (more converging lines) but I went with the following:

Olympus E-M1 with my Olympus 9mm f/8 fisheye body-cap lens. I tried it set on its 0.2M range. I then got close, very close. Check out my extra! Again I used my Samsung S7 to trigger the camera using wi-fi as I sipped my coffee in the kitchen...

Aiming upwards gave me light issues with the dull but brighter than subject sky. I set the camera on manual with the ISO at 800 and shutter at 1/80th, even this didn't capture the robin sharpe as the camera was sounding off before the image was captured. This was the best of just 3 shots of interest.

Whilst I waited for my shot I notice the Nuthatch from yesterday was back. There is a pair but only one used the feeder. At one stage the robin was queuing for his turn!
