Abel Tasman National Park track

The 50+ walking group are up and away again on Thursdays. An easier walk today after the monthly meeting. Drove to Marahau where we struggled to get a park. Walked to Tinline where we had lunch. Then on to Coquille Bay where two went in for a swim. Back to Tinline where we branched off and did the nature walk. Walkers don't stop to look at things properly, they are there to walk. However we did see weka, and two black baby pigs. They ran squealing to their mother and we heard her oinking away in the scrub somewhere.  Back at Marahau about 3pm.
Lots of people of all ages, sizes, nationalities walking both ways many in footwear like jandals and several in bare feet.

This view is straight from phone looking across at Fishermans Island with some sea, sand, scrub and bush.
