Colne, East Lancashire.

This is New Market Street in Colne town centre with the tower of the Town Hall at the top of the street. I have been waiting to blip this on a wet miserable day when I was passing through.

Sorry if this perpetuates the image of the north but, to me, it exemplifies my early life in the area. The terraced houses in this street have been given a sympathetic face-lift which should extend their habitable life.
