Northern Lights

We've had another fabulous day in Finland. A relatively early start as we were on a snowmobile safari from 10.30am. That meant being up well before sunrise (which was about 9.45am this morning!!).

The snowmobiles were fabulous, we covered around 50km with a good few photo stops for the scenery and wildlife and a lunch break along the way. We didn't fall off although there were a couple of "moments".

We had an early dinner and then we were off again, in search of the aurora. We went out into the darkness on a small sleigh for two, pulled by a reindeer. This was the first (and our only) clear night so we felt very fortunate to see the amazing spectacle, even if it wasn't that strong.

This is a quick iPad edit, will have a proper look at the files when we get home (tomorrow).
