The grass really is greener

Everything here looks so lush and green and that's one of the beauties of living in Scotland. Unfortunately this does come at a price - regular soakings. Yes, after 2 weeks of uninterrupted sunshine we're back to earth with a bump, and a dull and rainy day. Not that it mattered too much, it didn't stop Little D from getting into the garden and enjoying a rain-splattered swing. Miss A chose to stay in, without a stitch of clothing, clearly delusional thinking she was still in 30 degree heat.

It was a lovely, uneventful day, other than taking a quick trip to the docs this afternoon to get Little D some more medicine for his cough. Bedtime has gone relatively smoothly (thus far) so fingers crossed they'll sleep through. If not, I'm spending the day in bed as they go back to nursery tomorrow - hurrah!
