Friston Forest

I wanted to take friend S on an interesting but short orienteering ramble around the forest today (she is not not walking fit and I have a sore foot), but we did not want to do the children's course because that's too boring. I wanted to get her off the paths, deep into the forest.   I persuaded the course planner to let me have the "all controls" map,  I designed a very short but technically challenging course, off the paths as far as possible.  The weather was far better than forecast and the woods looked delightful with the sun through the trees. 
This is S navigating her way round a "natural" fence put down by the Forestry Commission to deter people from leaving the paths. Didn't stop us though.
