We returned from the field, with another trailer full of firewood, to be seasoned over the coming summer. With sister and brother-in-law, we made short work of the self-sown trees, fuelled by lunch provided - thanks Sis!

As soon as we arrived, the developer of the land adjacent caught up with us. He'd been trying to track me down without success for some time as he's keen to extend his proposed development onto our land. We exchanged mobile numbers and agreed to follow up at another time...
Since the land is green belt, the development is not straightforward.
