My boy

Bailey was at his most cuddly this morning and hard to leave on a Monday but, with just two to go this term, I managed to stir my bones and get off to work. I've done more than my fair share today of supervising students who were out of their lessons for various misdemeanours, including the final hour slot after school. It's been a bit of a high maintenance day - kids and staff alike but a fairly early finish with the official Bailey sitter on a trip today. Bailey and I walked at speed around the big block in the cold and the dark. And tonight he has kept me company on the sofa whilst I have read King Lear in preparation for Y12 tomorrow. I'm hoping the the rest of the week goes a little faster than today.
