Northwest by west

Day 28 Boxing the Compass from Glossop town centre took me to a footpath from Dinting station in the direction of Banks wood in Hadfield.

Looking left as I walked along that path I found today's compass point was in the direction of Hollingworth and specifically the junction of the A57 and A628. This is road bottleneck has been the cause of years and years of miles and miles of traffic jams.

My advice is to avoid that junction at all costs. When choosing a route it is always the last resort.
