Girls, girls, girls, but too young to notice

Back blipped on Tuesday 31st Jan
We had booked a trip in a long tailed boat to visit various islands and to go snorkelling. We originally had planned it for yesterday but put it back a day because of the weather forecast (and in the end the forecast was wrong and it was a lovely day yesterday).
We visited several islands, one of which we had all been to before on a boat trip from the mainland last year. We all remembered a particular beautiful large piece of pink gorgonia fan coral which was in a gully and which must have been quite a few years old, as they take some time to develop. Sadly it was no longer there - I don't know whether someone had broken it off or if the weather had broken it.
We had a super day but the snorkelling wasn't great - presumably the recent bad weather had stirred the sand up, as the visibility was mainly quite poor. Kai (aged 7) is getting really good at snorkelling and no longer wears a swimming aid.
In the evening we returned to the German-owned restaurant (Rice Paddy) again. It was so good when we ate here the other evening that we reserved a table for this evening, which is our penultimate night with our family.
This was taken on a tiny little island that we visited. We no sooner had moored up (we were the only ones on our boat) than a boat with a load of western girls arrived, and the place looked crowded!
Extra is of one of our two boat lads for the day, hauling the anchor.
