Logs

The last two loads of logs that we purchased from a local stately home forestry department have been a bit of a disaster.  They clearly aren't seasoned and they don't burn well in our log-burner.

I decided to pay a little more for some kiln-dried logs from an internet supplier.  Boy - what a difference!  They burn beautifully and give out much more heat.  I will be ordering from them again as I think they will be cheaper in the long term.

The extra shows a rather nice log basket that Jane bought me for my birthday.  It's wickerwork and hand made.
