Castlerigg Stone Circle

Day 5: Keswick to Patterdale via Sticks Pass. The stone circle is close to Keswick, and this is as bright as it got all day. The view from the circle is excellent; it's easy to see why the site was chosen.

We had showers most of the way, and as we descended into Glenridding we got drenched, arriving at the guest house looking like drowned rats.
