Our friends Nicola and Stewart came over today. I made a biryani using the vegetable curry I prepared yesterday. It's an interesting Jamie Oliver recipe using alternating layers of rice and curry, described as an Indian lasagne. We served it with popodums, chapatis, samosas and onion bahjis; pudding was chocolate cheesecake with fruit, all washed down with one or two very acceptable bottles of beer.

Earlier in the week I promised some tulips, well here they are.
