Mum at 90

I visited my mother today, now in a care home and looking brighter than she has done for a long while. Her birthday balloon is still just about airborne! We still haven't sorted the long term care yet, although that really ought to be done by now, but social services don't seem bothered even though they're picking up the whole tab at the moment.

Mum can't walk at all now which is sign of her deterioration over recent months. On a more positive note though, her new hearing aids have now arrived so we can have conversations again. Just need now to sort new specs and mobile phone then we will have her up and running again.....well, maybe not running!
